Crypto

Exchanges, wallets and on-chain products — where a deployment bug is permanent and security is the entire product.

What does building in crypto require?

It requires security discipline well beyond ordinary software, because errors are often irreversible and adversaries are financially motivated. It also requires compliance tooling for Indian tax and reporting obligations, and onboarding designed for people who have never held a wallet.

Adversarial by default

Most software faces users who are indifferent or occasionally careless. Crypto software faces users actively probing it for financial gain, with automated tooling, permanently. Every assumption gets tested, and a mistake in deployed contract code cannot be patched.

That reality sets the engineering standard: adversarial testing rather than happy-path testing, independent audit for anything holding value, key management designed before features, and staged deployment with limits rather than a full launch.

Common problems

What we are usually called in for

  • Onboarding loses mainstream users

Seed phrases, gas and network switching abandoning users at signup.

  • Contract risk is underestimated

Deployed code holding value without independent audit.

  • Compliance reporting is manual

Transaction records assembled by hand for tax and disclosure.

  • Custody design comes last

Key management retrofitted after the product is built.

Frequently asked

Questions we get about this

Do you audit smart contracts?

We test rigorously and coordinate independent audit for anything holding meaningful value. Reviewing our own code has known limits, and the failure mode here is irreversible loss — we would rather you fund an external audit than additional features.

Can users interact without understanding crypto?

Yes, with embedded wallets, email login and sponsored transactions. It is more work to build and it is the difference between a demo and a product with mainstream users.
