Graphic & motion design

Design systems and motion built for reuse — templates your team can run with, not one-off files that go stale.

What is motion design used for?

Motion design animates graphics, type and illustration for advertising, explainers, product demonstrations, social content and interface animation. It is particularly effective for explaining processes or abstract concepts that would be difficult or expensive to film.

Build templates, not one-offs

Commissioning each social graphic and each animated intro individually is slow and expensive, and it produces inconsistency as different hands interpret the brand differently. The alternative is a template system — parameterised files where copy, colour and imagery swap out while the design logic stays fixed.

That takes longer to build once and then removes most of the recurring cost. It also lets your own team produce on-brand material without a designer in the loop for every asset.

Tooling

What we typically build with

  • Adobe After Effects

Stack decisions follow the problem. This is where we usually start, not a fixed menu.

Frequently asked

Questions we get about this

Animation or live video?

Animation suits processes, data, abstract concepts and anything requiring frequent updates — you can revise a slide of an animation without a reshoot. Live video suits people, products and credibility. Many of the best explainers combine both.

Can our team use the templates without design skills?

That is the point of building them properly. Templates constrain what can be changed so the output stays on brand, and we run a training session against your actual workflow rather than handing over files.
