Data analytics & insights

Measurement that follows the money — from first click through to closed revenue, and still working after the next privacy change.

What does marketing analytics measure?

Useful marketing analytics measures the path from first interaction to revenue: which channels produce enquiries, which enquiries become qualified leads, and which leads close. Session and pageview metrics describe activity; revenue-connected measurement supports decisions about where to spend.

Sessions are not the business

A channel delivering ten thousand sessions and four qualified leads is worse than one delivering four hundred sessions and twenty. Reporting that stops at traffic hides that difference, and budget follows the wrong number for months.

Connecting the website to the CRM is the single highest-return analytics project for most businesses. It is unglamorous plumbing, and it changes which channels get funded.

  1. 01

    Define the questions

The decisions the data must support, written down.

  2. 02

    Audit current tracking

What is measured, what is broken, what is missing.

  3. 03

    Implement

GA4, server-side tagging, consent handling and event design.

  4. 04

    Connect to revenue

Pass identifiers through to the CRM and back.

  5. 05

    Report and review

A monthly cycle that produces decisions, not documents.

Deliverables

What you receive

  • A measurement plan mapping questions to events
  • Implemented tracking with server-side tagging and consent mode
  • CRM connection with channel attribution through to closed revenue
  • A reporting view for marketing and one for leadership
  • Documentation so future site changes do not break tracking

Engagement shape

Four to eight weeks for implementation, then an optional monthly analysis retainer.

Tooling

What we typically build with

  • GA4
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Server-side GTM
  • Looker Studio
  • HubSpot and Zoho
  • BigQuery
  • Microsoft Clarity

Stack decisions follow the problem. This is where we usually start, not a fixed menu.

Frequently asked

Questions we get about this

Does consent tracking reduce our data?

Yes, and it is a legal requirement under the DPDP Act where personal data is involved. Consent mode and modelling recover a meaningful share of the gap, and a slightly smaller dataset you are entitled to hold beats a complete one you are not.

Why do analytics and CRM numbers never match?

They almost never will exactly — different attribution windows, cross-device gaps, bot filtering and definition differences. What matters is that both are internally consistent and the gap is understood. We document the reconciliation rather than chasing an impossible match.

Talk it through before you commit

A discovery call is a working session on your constraint, not a sales pitch.

A short note is enough. You'll hear back from the team, not a bot — usually within one working day.
