Engineering

Applications, portals and integrations built to survive real users, real load and the five years after launch.

What engineering services does Digistan provide?

Digistan Consultant builds custom web applications, mobile apps for iOS and Android, enterprise portals, CMS and e-commerce sites, CRM and custom portals, API and system integrations, and QA test automation — using React, Node.js, Python, PHP and React Native.

Software is judged in year three

Any competent team can ship a first version. The difference shows when a new developer has to add a feature eighteen months later, when traffic triples, or when the integration you built against changes its API. That is a function of architecture decisions taken early, test coverage, and documentation nobody wanted to write.

We build for that horizon without over-engineering for a scale that may never arrive. Concretely: real separation of concerns, automated tests on the paths that matter, CI/CD from the first commit, and a README that lets someone else run the project on day one.

Frequently asked

Questions we get about this

What technologies do you build with?

React and Next.js on the front end; Node.js, Python and PHP on the back end; React Native for cross-platform mobile; MySQL and PostgreSQL for data. We pick per project rather than per preference, and we will tell you when your existing stack is a better choice than our favourite one.

Do you take over existing codebases?

Yes, and we start with an audit rather than a rewrite pitch. Inherited code is usually less catastrophic than the incoming team claims. Where a rewrite genuinely is warranted we will show you the reasoning, because it is an expensive recommendation to make casually.

Who owns the code?

You do, in your repository, from the first commit. No licensing of our framework, no hosting lock-in, no dependency on us to deploy.

Talk it through before you commit

A discovery call is a working session on your constraint, not a sales pitch.

A short note is enough. You'll hear back from the team, not a bot — usually within one working day.
